Tooth-Colored Fillings
If we notice decay during an exam, we will likely recommend removal of it and the placement of a filling. This prevents the spread of decay and helps you keep your natural tooth. Our fillings are made of a composite material, so they’re tooth-colored. Your smile will look as beautiful as ever.
Dental Crowns & Bridges
Also called caps, crowns are used for a number of reasons. They can cover cracked or broken teeth, restore strength and provide protection after a root canal, and even be used along with a dental implant to complete your smile. Crowns are strong and durable, and they blend in perfectly with your surrounding teeth.
If you’re missing a tooth or two, we can use crowns to attach a dental bridge, which has a false tooth to replace a missing tooth. Bridges are secure and allow your teeth to function like normal again.
Dentures
Patients missing many or all of their teeth can benefit from dentures. We can create partial or full dentures depending on your needs. The materials and techniques used to create dentures have come a long way, so your denture will look natural and give you back full function of your teeth.
Denture Stabilization with Implants
If you wear dentures that slip or click or are generally uncomfortable, we can help! Using dental implants, we can stabilize your dentures so they stay firmly in place throughout the day without the need for messy adhesives. Once you’ve had implants strategically placed, we can customize your dentures, or have a new set created, with holes that match up to the implants. Simply snap the denture into place over the implant for a stable fit.
Root Canal Therapy
When you have severe damage, decay, or infection in a tooth, sometimes the best way to save the tooth is with a root canal. They have a reputation for being painful, but we work hard to provide gentle care and keep you comfortable the whole time. In fact, the worst pain you’ll feel is from the problem tooth itself – you should only feel pressure during the procedure. After we clean out the tooth, we’ll top it with a dental crown for strength and protection.
Extractions, Including Wisdom Teeth
If we can’t save your natural tooth, or your wisdom teeth are coming in and giving you trouble, we can perform an extraction here in our office. We’ll keep you comfortable with local anesthesia and sedation if necessary. If it’s not a wisdom tooth we’re extracting, we’ll also go over your options for tooth replacement.
